I stayed over at my friend’s place, and during that time, he told me he needed a guitarist. I took the offer and joined the band.

A few weeks later, he and two of his friends started repeatedly calling me while I was on the phone with my girlfriend. They kept making comments like calling me “gay” or a “femboy lover” — stuff like that. (Ironically, one of them is actually gay.) It was immature and disrespectful, so I decided the best move was to block them.

Later on, I found out they posted on their band’s TikTok account saying I was moving away and would no longer be playing in the band — which was never something we agreed on. We had actually talked about reuniting once I move back. But instead, they silently kicked me out and replaced me with someone who honestly plays like complete dogshit. I was easily the best musician in that group — my friend even admitted that.

I am moving, but not until the end of July. Given everything that’s happened, I really don’t think I’ll be rejoining them anymore.
